The area around Cowra and Canowindra has long been acknowledged as home to some of Australia's finest produce. The area produces an amazing array of fruits and vegetables including cherries, citrus, apples, berries and asparagus, spinach, cauliflower, corn and cabbage just to name a few. Local meats are a talking point among foodies as well in particular, prime lamb, Wagyu beef and smoked trout.
